When I traveled to Singapore for the first time, I had no idea what to expect, and packing quickly became overwhelming. Over college winter break, my now-husband and I flew halfway around the world to spend five days exploring Singapore before cruising around Southeast Asia.

What I didn’t anticipate was just how intense the heat and humidity would be. On our first day, we decided to sightsee by walking all over the city – that was a huge mistake! Within an hour, my husband said to me, “I think your makeup is literally melting off!”
