Conservation Florida is dedicated to protecting the Sunshine State's water, wildlife, and wild places. To this day, Conservation Florida has protected more than 40,000 acres of wild Florida; and there are many more to come!
From Pensacola to the Florida Keys, the nonprofit land conservancy works to save the land that saves us.

Conservation Florida partners with landowners to protect their land – forever. From large projects to small ones, and from tenth generation Floridians to new residents, the team invites everyone to take part in their vision – a Florida for everyone, forever.
Protecting Our Paradise
One example of this work? AP Ranch!

In 2025, Conservation Florida announced the permanent protection of more than 1,000 acres of working ranchland that is also home to the endangered Florida Panther.
AP Ranch is located in the heart of Florida and is home to countless unique species of wildlife and plants. From golden fields where cattle graze to green forests where panthers quietly roam, AP Ranch is just one of many precious properties that Conservation Florida is protecting thanks to support from nature-minded Floridians and private landowners like Gerry Arsenault, landowner of AP Ranch.

“As a landowner, I’ve always believed that taking care of the land means leaving it better than you found it,” said Gerry. “Partnering with Conservation Florida ensures this place will stay pristine – for panthers, bears and other wildlife in perpetuity.”
Conservation Florida’s work is not only focused on large-scale projects AP Ranch, however. They're proud to collaborate with Floridians to protect land right in their backyards. It takes a village; and it's going to take all of us to protect what needs protecting.

Recently, Floridians in the Panhandle rallied for support when plans for a 16-pump fuel station were released. Why the concern? It was to be built overtop America’s longest underwater cave system.
Conservation Florida was honored to join community members, policymakers, and business leaders to ensure this special spot – Chip's Hole – was saved.

Protect What You Love
More than 1,000 people move to Florida each day, and it’s up to us to make sure that the special, wild Florida we know and love is able to sustain that growth. The time is now for us to work together to protect the land we are lucky enough to call our home. So next time you’re hiking a lush trail or swimming in blue waters, remember that it takes all of us to protect these places for future adventures.
